Introducing XL Grain
Discover how XL Grain can enhance your grain feeding strategy. This innovative product raises the pH of your grain to a safer level of 8.5 and boosts the protein content by up to 5 percentage points, transforming your grain from 10% to 15% protein with ease.
Product information:
XL Grain raises the pH of the treated grain to a minimum of 8.5 making it safer to feed at higher levels.
XL grain raises the protein of the grain by up to 5 percentage points i.e. (taking the grain from 10% protein to 15% protein).
Application:
Application Rate is 20 Kg (1 bag) per tonne of Cereals.
It is a much simpler mixing process than Maxxamon or Grain Phro+ as it is one product and one bag per tonne of grain.
It can be used to treat whole grain (which can then be rolled afterwards) or to treat rolled grain. Whole or Rolled grain will keep for up 12 months.
Grain moisture should be 18-22% but it is safe to use up to 25% moisture. If lower than 18% moisture add water – 10 Ltrs of water will increase moisture by 1%- so if grain is 15% add 50 ltrs to bring to 20% moisture.
Rolling Service:
Contractors will work with Quinns so we can provide the full package in terms of grain testing, product supply, grain treatment and diet advice.
