Job Description

Quinns of Baltinglass are looking to recruit a General Operative for our busy hardware & Agri yard. This is a full-time permanent role.

A valid/experienced forklift licence (counterbalance) loading shovel certificate are required.

Duties :

Serving customers
Loading and unloading our own fleet of delivery vans /lorries
Keeping the yard/sheds/stock tidy
Completing necessary paperwork
Unloading and packing away of incoming deliveries and any other jobs as required by the yard manager.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of farming or building/hardware, be hard working and conscientious, and to be customer focused at all times.
A keen eye for detail is important as you pick and process orders efficiently and correctly.
The role is 40 hours per week, working 5 of 6 days Monday to Saturday.
